Two nights ago I was watching ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’ TV show and found out that Selena’s widow Chris Pérez, who now is a band member of Kumbia All Starz, got a restraining order placed against him by his wife! Chris doesn’t seem like the type who would kill a fly. I do know that before becoming the guitar player for Selena y Los Dinos, he was rough guy but Selena seemed to calm him down a bit and so we all got to see a nice, quiet, timid Chris Pérez.
Maybe that’s what the problem is; we only saw a side of him that he wanted to us to see, and not his true self? Who knows!
Anyhow, I was saddened to see that he is going through a rough time.
According to the show, his wife just filed for divorce and if the restraining order is true, he will not be able to see his children.
I hope things get better for him.
