OK, so Tejano music singer Emilio Navaira is now recuperating from a tragic bus accident that left him in a comma. We all felt bad for him and his family, especially when the doctors said he had a small chance of surviving.
So this morning, as I was getting ready for work, I hear on the radio that Emilio Navaira was drunk at the time of the accident!!! D R U N K !!!
People were calling in to make their comments and the majority said Navaira should be forgiven and not be taken to jail. Excuse me! But if you go put yourself behind a wheel while intoxicated then you need to man up and face the consequences. So just because he is a celebrity, he gets to wash his hands and move on? I don't think so!
So I do hope when he is released from his hospital bed, he gets booked into county jail for a DUI! Thank goodness there were no fatalities, but he almost got his entire band killed just because he decided he wanted to drive.
