Rock on: 2 upcoming concerts
I recently learned of two unique, upcoming concerts.
The first one is Rock for the Bicentennial, a bi-national rock concert presented by the Consulate of México in Fresno.
The free event, which will be held at the Rainbow Ballroom on May 1, features bands Hummersqueal and El Mostro, both from México City, and La Sabina and 40 Watt Hype, of Fresno.
The second one is Mendopalooza, a concert featuring up-and-coming local bands from Fresno, Mendota, and Tranquillity.
The free event will be held at Di Amici Café in Mendota on May 23 at 3 p.m.
