The Filmworks flick I’m not going to miss
Fresno Filmworks’ annual film festival, which kicks off tomorrow night, boasts a great line-up of flicks. But the movie that I’m especially excited about is “Cinco Días sin Nora” (Nora’s Will.)
Here’s the synopsis from the Filmworks Website:
The film’s protagonist, Nora, has a plan that would bring her ex-husband, Jose, and the rest of their family together for a magnificent Passover feast. But there’s a flaw in Nora’s plan — a mysterious photograph from the past, hidden under the bed, which leads Jose to re-examine their relationship and re-discover their undying love for each other.
The 2009 Mexican movie, which is in Spanish with English subtitles, was nominated for 11 Ariel Awards from the Mexican Academy of Film, which is México’s equivalent of the Academy Awards.

See you there!?!
