Con El Limón Way! Peruvian Style in Fresno!

Aldo preps a delicacy.
I had the pleasure of meeting the family of

Lomo Saltado consists of top sirloin, sauteéd onions, tomatoes and a side of white rice.
Peruvians, Aldo, Ana and Luz, at their restaurant in north Fresno, Limón: Peruvian Cuisine – Nuevo Latino Fusion at the River Park Shopping Center.
It’s a gem. Not only is the pre-recorded music delightful adding to a superb dining experience, but the dishes are fabuloso and satisfy even the most-stubborn of palates.
Many of the dishes are prepared by Abuelita Luz! Luz sports the chef’s outfit, complete with the Peruvian banner on the collar and the family crest printed on the hat.
Owners Aldo and his wife, Ana, along with her mother, Luz, blend, actually, fuse together an awesome mix of Asian and Peruvian delicacies.
While there, be sure to sample the Lomo Saltado, sauteéd onions, tomatoes and top sirloin with a side of white rice and Asian soy sauce. All of this is easy complemented with a fine wine, served by Santos, your bartender and host.
Also check out the Escabeche de pescado. An awesome seafood plate.
I’ve heard it all now! Lima, Perú, where the family originates, already had bragging rights on the Andes. I’m adding the fine cuisine as well! Read all about it in next week’s Vida.

Daniel, you’ll have to go back to Limón on Tuesday, July 12 (anytime after 5:30 p.m.) to join Mayor Swearengin and TasteFresno for the new Local Bites initiative! Nice blog post (I’m a little behind, haha).
