Not ready for the MLS? Let Fuego’s futbol prep you in the PDL
Any of you a hardcore fan of the Fresno Fuego who might be interested in trading your noisemaker for a pair of cleats?
Like the San Jose Earthquakes, the Fuego will also hold open tryouts for the Premier Development League team of Fresno. The franchise is searching for talented players throughout four days of intense screening come January.
The Fuego plays out of Chukchansi Park (pronounced Chickchansi, not Chuckchansi) during an approximate three-month period in the summer. The season could be extended about a month, if they make the postseason.
Tryouts are scheduled for Jan. 4, 5, 7, 9 at a site yet to be determined. The fee is $50 and you must register with Jeremy by calling (559) 320-2530.
