Notice to rappers, opera singers, and even shower-singing enthusiasts. Artists of all genres are invited to submit a unique composition to the Visalia Transit Division about the Holly Trolley.

Here’s your chance at $500! The winning individual or group also gets a consultation with a professional musical producer and professional production of the song.

The contest is open to Tulare County residents. All original submissions must be about the Holly Trolley. Entries can be submitted in person at the Visalia Transit Center at 425 E. Oak in Visalia or at the Web site at The deadline is Nov. 11th. Visit the Web site for the rules.

The downtown trolley in Visalia operates all year for .25 cents a ride; a monthly pass can be purchased for $5.00.  During the holidays (Nov. 27 – Dec. 24), the trolley is free. Rides are extended to Mooney Boulevard during this time.
