Sweet treats for fall!
The fall is full of holidays: My birthday, then Halloween, and then Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on November 2. And all of these holidays have something awesome in common: Sweet treats!
I loved my chocolate birthday cake with ginger icing, and there is a special place in my heart for candy corn… but check out this beautiful skull-shaped cookie for Día De los Muertos! Mmm…
I received a press release about this cookie from the New York-based couture pastry company, One Tough Cookie. But since we are in Freso, I am wondering… are there local places to buy similarly delicious cookies? Or do you make your own skull-shaped cookies for the holiday?
