Your last chance to wear white to weekend events…avatar

If you’re still looking for a way to jazz up your Labor Day Weekend, here are two great options.

Tonight, Revelación Caribe and Revelació Vallenata will be performing as part of Arte America’s Nights in the Plaza summer music series. After this weekend, there are just three more Friday night concerts at Arte, but this is the last one you can attend wearing summery white pants. (No white after Labor Day,or so they say…)

If you want a preview of these groups’ tropical sound, check out this YouTube video.

If sports – specifically Fresno State sports – is more your thing, don’t miss Fiesta Football Night on Saturday at Ratcliffe Stadium. The Fresno State Bulldogs football team will kick off their season that night against the UC Davis Aggies.

As part of Fiesta Football night, there will be live Mexican music at Bulldog Boulevard prior to kickoff, bilingual video board messages, discounted group tickets and family plans, and a halftime event recognizing the region’s Latino heritage.

And while I’m promoting events through videos, here’s one about Fiesta Football Night:
