I spent a couple of hours last night with my newest friends Jeff, Robert, Veronica and Emerald, all part of the crew that make up the Sanger Paranormal Society.

You won’t find the ’Mystery Machine’ here because they are not an off-shoot joke of Scooby Doo. Instead they are serious investigators of paranormal activity. And it’s a serious business, especially for the person who can only go to sleep with the light on.

Del Rey Cemetary.

Del Rey Cemetary.

Using expensive infrared cameras and electromagnetic meters, and other intricate equipment, the crew attempts to explain the inexplicable. They are called upon to explain strange occurances in homes and other locations, where in some cases, the people have become so freaked out that they actually consider moving.

Business owners call because workers are creeped out over unexplained shifts in temperature, strange noises and unrecognizable shapes lurking about in the building. Could it be a ghost?

Have you ever had that feeling you’re being watched? Get a chill that makes the follicles of your hair stand on end? Do you ever feel like there is someone else in the house? Creepy, right? D#$^& straight.

Jeff Gonzalez – a state section director/investigator for MUFON, which stands for Mutual UFO Network, a national organization dedicated to the scientific study of UFOs – and the crew want to help.

And what’s great is that the Sanger Paranormal Society does it all for FREE! Just call their 24-hour hotline at (559) 287-8367. Learn more about the group’s strange encounters, including the Big Foot photo, soon in an upcoming issue of Vida en el Valle.
