I must admit, I have been a novela (soap opera) junkie since I can remember and nowadays I only stick to Telemundo’s novelas. They have great, original story lines and the best part, great actors that are not only incredibly good looking, but also very smart, goal oriented and with bright futures ahead if they continue the path they’re traveling on…(that’s according to my humble opinion).
First, I had the chance to interview Jencarlos Canela…*sigh* (He is currently in Más Sabe El Diablo) and then, about a week ago, it was Alejandro Chabán…**sigh again** Boy, am I enjoying my job!!!
Alejandro Chabán is a young actor from Venezuela that recently appeared in El Rostro de Analía as Miguel, a revel who throughout the soap opera is evolving and dealing with circumstances that life throws at him. But Ale is not only an actor, he is an author too. When he was young he was overweight, he struggled with health issues such as not being able to breathe properly and feeling low self-esteem as a result. Tired of it all, and through hard work and discipline, he lost the weight and now looks like this:

Not happy with only losing the weight and looking great, Alejandro decided to share his journey in “De Gordo a Galán” (“From Fattie to Hottie), a book he hopes can inspire others to be healthy and feel better about themselves. He decided to turn this negative part of his life as positive.
There was one minor boo about doing this interview, he was in Los Angeles, where he currently lives, and I was in Las Vegas! However, even through a phone conversation, Ale and I had a very nice chat where he shared with me his passion for life, of learning new things, of following his dreams and accomplishing goals while inspiring others to do the same.
Yes, dear readers, I am in awe of him as I’m sure many of you already are or will be after learning more about him
