2007 Sueño MLS Winner Jorge Flores joins U-20 National Training Camp

You remember the 2007 Sueño MLS winner Jorge Flores from Anaheim, California? Flores’s game on the pitch was enough to beat out thousands of young and talented individuals to become a recognized name in the future of the sport.
Flores – a forward, but who will play as a defender – has been chosen to join the U-20 National Team Camp in Sarasota, Florida, where the squad will train for the upcoming 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
Thomas Rongen is the coach of the team. He’ll direct the squad through various drills and matches during the camp from May 23 -28. Included are two international scrimmage matches against Costa Rican U-20 squad on May 25 and the 27th..
The Chivas USA U-18 and U-16 squads will join the camp as it runs in conjunction with the Development Academy Showcase.
Going into the U-20 World Cup, which will be held in Egypt from Sept. 24 through Oct. 16, the United States is in Group C with Germany, Cameroon and the Republic of Korea.
